When I was a kid I had an ah-hah moment when I realized boogers were made of carbon (well, a mixture of glycoproteins with 80% carbohydrate content). The chemical makeup of our individual being, our world, our universe is a chemical blend that takes a genius to concoct -- and a few idiots to demolish. I decided, early on, to be part of a solution to bring balance to a world overrun with energy consuming gluttons.  (is that too harsh?)   I think not.  And so do my compadres.
